Shimmer Spray Time

Ok.  Another one that's unlike anything I've done before and that I REALLY like.  I wanted to do another card for one of Cath's Moxie Fab Stamp It! Techniques Week challenges.  Paper piecing is something close to what I frequently do so I almost went down that path.  However, the other challenge I've hung onto was shimmer sprays.  I have 1 Tattered Angels' spray and 3 I made from Pearl Ex/Water/Gum Arabic.  I also have a few of Tim Holtz's masks that I've been wanting to try out.  All of that paired with a desire to jump in on Craft Your Passion's Dude Time Doodles Challenge meant that I shimmer sprayed my stencils into a card that will likely be for my father.  When I nail down the purpose of the card, I'll add the rest of the sentiment to the inside.

First I spritzed SU Kraft (Crumbcake) paper with Tattered Angels' Red Velvet, spray, dropped the TH clock mask and then spritzed with my PE Super Bronze spray.  I also double-spritzed, heavy on the red, 2 of the "negative" gear masks and cut those out.  I cooked up the sentiment to match the card and printed it out off of that antique ink jet.  The cut gears were dimensionaled and I added 2 TH metal gears (I can't believe I finally used them!) for accent.
